Project Life - Week 38 (2016)
Here is the overall view of Week 38 of my 2016 Project Life album. I am really enjoying pulling thing from my stash lately. Currently I am not subscribed to any kits and it is a fun challenge to mix and match papers, embellishments, etc on my layout. I am also using up some pretty old stuff that has been sitting in my stash for quite some time (like those Crate Paper chip board frames).
Here is a close-up of one of those frames. They are so cute, but these tiny ones I find hard to use, but they are great for layering pieces.
The title card was made using a few Ali Edwards stamps, labels from Kaitlin Shaffer, a charm I have had in my stash for years, and these super awesome Thickers. I love how you can see the faint type on these.
Another thing I have been getting more use out of is my stamps. I like to stamp several images/phrases on white card stock and then put them in my die-cut containers by color, then when I am looking for something to embellish a card with, they are already made and ready to go.
A good way to use up your washi stash is to lay several strips down on paper and use your punches to make shapes that you can use as layering pieces as I did for the pink heart in this picture.
Here is the process video where I put this layout together.
Thanks for stopping by.
